Buku Abi, R. Kelly's daughter, has accused him of sexually abusing her when she was 8 or 9 years old in a new documentary titled *R. Kelly’s Karma: A Daughter’s Journey*. She recalls waking up to him touching her and feeling too scared to report it initially. Kelly's attorney, Jennifer Bonjean, denied the allegations, stating they were previously investigated and deemed unfounded. She criticized the documentary filmmakers for not reaching out to Kelly for his side of the story. R. Kelly is currently serving a 20-year sentence for child pornography and related charges, in addition to a 30-year sentence from a New York case. He will be eligible for release in 2045.
