Rachael Blackmore wins Cheltenham race, honors late cousin

Rachael Blackmore won her first race at the 2025 Cheltenham Festival, guiding Air Of Entitlement to victory in the Mares' Novices' Hurdle. She dedicated the win to her late cousin, Robert Blackmore, whom she missed the funeral for to compete. This victory marks Blackmore's 17th win at Cheltenham and her first of the festival. She had previously struggled to secure wins after recovering from a neck injury sustained in September 2024. Blackmore expressed gratitude for her success and praised her trainer, Henry de Bromhead, for preparing the horses well for the event.
