Rachel Fairbanks signs pro contract with Atlanta in League One Volleyball
Rachel Fairbanks, a standout setter from Pitt volleyball, has signed a professional contract with the Atlanta franchise in League One Volleyball. She is a two-time All-American and has led Pitt to significant achievements. Fairbanks joins her former teammate Valeria Vazquez Gomez, who signed with the Omaha Supernovas in the Pro Volleyball Federation. Fairbanks is recognized as the second player in Pitt history to earn ACC Setter of the Year honors. This season, Fairbanks averaged 10.67 assists per set and recorded 1,067 total assists, ranking among the best in Pitt's history. She contributed to Pitt's top national hitting percentage of 0.332.
