Cabramatta is known for its diversity. In the video, the man confronts a Vietnamese worker who is busy making coffee. He angrily demands to be served immediately. The worker politely asks the man to wait, which leads to the man threatening violence and starting a racist rant. The man is heard saying, “You’re in my country now,” among other insults. The bakery worker tries to keep calm but eventually tells the man to leave. The aggressive individual continues his tirade, using offensive language and making further threats. A witness, a 13-year-old boy, felt scared by the man’s behavior. He noted that an elderly Vietnamese woman behind the counter appeared close to tears from the encounter. After the video gained nearly 100,000 views on social media, many people expressed their support for the bakery and criticized the man’s actions. Comments included disappointment with the behavior shown and calls for community support to the bakery.
