Rainbow Six Siege adds full crossplay in upcoming update with new anticheat measures

Rainbow Six Siege will introduce full crossplay between PC and console players with its Year 9 Season 4 update, Operation Collision Point, launching on December 3. This update also includes anticheat improvements, gameplay balance changes, and a remastered Operator. With crossplay, console players can join PC matches, but squads with PC players will be placed in the PC matchmaking pool. Console players will have separate ranks for crossplay and non-crossplay modes. Enhanced cheater detection aims to maintain fairness in matches. The update features an upgraded gadget for Operator Blackbeard and introduces the Siege Cup, a competitive playlist for skilled players. Changes to Ballistic Shields and adjustments for Operators Ying and Sens are also included to improve gameplay dynamics.
