Rajasthan adds two new Vande Bharat train routes

Rajasthan is set to improve its rail services with the introduction of two new Vande Bharat express trains. These trains will operate on the Bikaner-Delhi and Jaipur-Jodhpur routes, enhancing the state's connectivity. The Bikaner-Delhi route will travel through Churu, Ratangarh, and Loharu. The Jaipur-Jodhpur route will have a stop at Ajmer. There are plans to extend the Jaipur-Jodhpur service to Delhi as well. With these new trains, travel time will be reduced significantly, allowing passengers to travel from Bikaner to Delhi in just 6 hours and 20 minutes—a decrease of 1.5 hours. The proposed schedule for the Bikaner-Delhi train has been set. It will depart from Bikaner at 5:55 AM and arrive in Delhi at 12:15 PM. The return journey will leave Delhi at 4:30 PM and arrive back in Bikaner at 10:50 PM. The schedule for the Jaipur-Jodhpur train is still being finalized. Currently, Rajasthan has several Vande Bharat Express trains in operation. These include routes such as Jaipur-Udaipur and Ajmer-Delhi. The introduction of these new trains is part of a broader effort by Indian Railways to enhance rail connectivity across the country. Since its launch in 2019, the Vande Bharat Express has gained popularity for offering a comfortable travel experience. The addition of these trains in Rajasthan is expected to make travel easier for residents and attract more international tourists.
