Rajasthan private school RTE applications opening March 25

Application forms for Right to Education (RTE) admissions in private schools will be open online from March 25 to April 7. Parents can select up to five schools for their children. There will be a lottery on April 9 to determine which students will get admission. In Rajasthan, 25% of seats in Class 1 and pre-primary will be reserved for RTE students. All private schools in the state must update their profiles by March 24. To apply, families must be permanent residents of Rajasthan with an annual income below Rs 2.5 lakh. Required documents include an income certificate, a child's age certificate, a domicile certificate, a caste certificate, a below-poverty-line card, a working mobile number, and a passport-sized photo. After the lottery, the list of selected students will be posted in schools and on the RTE portal. Parents must confirm admission online between April 9 and April 15. Schools will check the submitted applications until April 21. From April 22, remaining applications will be auto-verified. Parents can update their documents at this time. Schools can reject applications until May 5. Rejections will be reviewed by the chief block education officer. Final selections will be announced on the portal from May 9 to July 15.
