Rajasthan Royals confirm player retention and budget ahead of IPL 2025 auction

Rajasthan Royals will be led by Sanju Samson in the IPL 2025 season. The team has retained six players and will not use any Right to Match options in the upcoming auction. The retained players include Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, and Sandeep Sharma. The team has a budget of Rs 41 crore for the auction after spending Rs 79 crore on retentions. Founded in 2008, Rajasthan Royals are based in Jaipur and play home matches at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. They won the first IPL title and were runners-up in the 2022 season.
