Rajasthan Royals sign 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi for ₹1.10 crore in IPL auction

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 13-year-old cricketer from Bihar, was signed by Rajasthan Royals for ₹1.10 crore during the IPL mega auction in Jeddah on November 25, 2024. Suryavanshi made headlines after scoring 104 runs off 62 balls in a Youth Test series against Australia. He also debuted in T20 for Bihar, scoring 13 runs in six balls. He is now the youngest player in IPL history, debuting at 12 years and 284 days, surpassing records set by Yuvraj Singh and Sachin Tendulkar. His recent century is the fastest by an Indian at the youth level.
