Rajasthan United wins 2-1, stays fifth in I-League

Rajasthan United Football Club (RUFC) achieved a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Namdhari in their recent I-League match. The game took place at Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur. This win helped RUFC maintain their fifth position in the league standings. The players were inspired by a pep talk from renowned sports scientist Prof Dr Jan Mayer just days before the match. Young forward Seiminmang Manchong scored the first goal for RUFC in the 41st minute. Skipper Alain Oyarzun added a second goal with a penalty just before halftime. Namdhari struggled to catch up throughout the match. They pulled one goal back in the 54th minute when Vicente scored from a free kick. However, despite their efforts, they could not break through RUFC's strong defense in the final moments. With this victory, RUFC now has 30 points from 20 games, marking their eighth win of the season. In contrast, Namdhari fell to the eighth position with 26 points from the same number of matches. RUFC's next game will be against Delhi on March 28. They will conclude the season with a match against Inter Kashi on April 6. Several notable guests, including football officials from Germany, attended the exciting match.
