Rajinder Rana claims Congress orchestrated false FIR against family

Rajinder Rana, a former Congress MLA who joined the BJP last year, has accused the Congress government of plotting against his family. He claims that the police in Sirmaur district filed a false FIR against his wife and son for breach of trust. Speaking to reporters in Hamirpur, Rana said he would fight the allegations in court. He stated that the complainant, Anil Chauhan, borrowed Rs 2.5 crore from his family to start a stone crusher business but failed to do so. Rana said his family was supposed to be 50% partners in the project. When Chauhan did not return the money, Rana’s family filed a complaint with the Pachhad police. Rana suggested that Chauhan then went to Congress leaders for help, which led to the registration of the FIR against his family without proper investigation.
