Rajinikanth's daughter initiated Tamil trailer unveiling

Prithviraj Sukumaran has shared insights about his new film, L2: Empuraan. This film is a follow-up to his successful 2019 movie, Lucifer. It has become one of the most anticipated films in mainstream Malayalam cinema. The trailer has received positive feedback, not just from audiences but also from notable figures in the industry. Rajinikanth, a megastar in Tamil cinema, recently unveiled the Tamil version of the trailer. SS Rajamouli shared the Telugu version on social media. Prithviraj expressed gratitude for this support. He clarified that he did not personally ask Rajinikanth to share the trailer. Instead, Soundarya, Rajinikanth's daughter, contacted him after he showed the trailer to Rajinikanth at his home. Prithviraj also spoke about the high regard he has for Rajamouli. He is currently working with him on a new film starring Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Prithviraj admires Rajamouli's work in Telugu cinema and hopes to achieve similar success in Malayalam cinema. He feels thankful for the support he has received from industry peers like Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, and friends like Kajol and Prabhas. On managing his dual role as both director and actor in L2: Empuraan, Prithviraj mentioned that he does not find it particularly challenging. He views filmmaking as a collaborative effort where he feels comfortable juggling both responsibilities. He is looking forward to seeing how audiences will react to the film.
