Ramsbottom plans one-way system and 20mph speed limit for town centre improvements

Ramsbottom town centre will soon have a one-way road system and a 20mph speed limit. These changes aim to improve traffic flow and safety. Businesses have been informed ahead of a public consultation starting next week. The proposals include road junction improvements, wider footpaths, and upgraded crossings. The changes are based on feedback from a previous consultation and are funded by the Government's sustainable transport initiative. A public consultation will run from November 12 to December 6, with virtual and in-person events planned. This will allow residents to learn more and provide feedback on the proposed changes.
