Rangayana to host three-day workshop on theatre songs in Kalaburagi

Rangayana in Kalaburagi will host a three-day workshop on theatre songs starting Thursday. Senior theatre artist Shambulinga Waldoddi will lead the sessions, focusing on songs by notable composers like B.V. Karanth and Chandrashekar Kambar. The workshop will be inaugurated by Chandrashekarachar Heggotara, Director of Ranga Sangeeta, Mysuru. Fifty students from various local colleges will participate, with opportunities for other interested students and theatre artists to join. This event marks a new initiative to enhance the understanding and performance of theatre music in the region.
