A unique pure gold coin from the Royal Canadian Mint has sold for over $1.5 million at auction. Weighing 10 kilograms, the coin, titled "The Dance Screen (The Scream Too)," set a new auction record in Canada. The coin was sold for $1,561,250 to an anonymous bidder on November 20. It honors Chief 7IDANsuu (James Hart) of the Haida Nation and features traditional Haida figures on its design. The coin includes six pieces of abalone shell on its edge, reflecting Haida culture. The obverse side displays King Charles III's image, created by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
