Ratan Tata's half-siblings take leadership roles in family trusts managing Tata group stakes
The Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation and Trust are restructuring, with Ratan Tata's half-siblings, Shireen, Deanne Jejeebhoy, and Noel Tata, joining as trustees. This change marks a shift in leadership for the family stakes in Tata group companies. The trusts, which manage shares inherited from Ratan Tata, will focus on education, healthcare, and community upliftment. Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran is expected to become the managing trustee for both organizations. The number of trustees will increase, with six for the Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation and seven for the Ratan Tata Endowment Trust. Both trusts will maintain voting rights proportional to their stakes in Tata group companies.
