RCB acquires Tim David and Romario Shepherd in IPL mega auction while MI signs Will Jacks

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) acquired all-rounders Tim David and Romario Shepherd during the IPL mega auction in Jeddah. David, previously with Mumbai Indians, was bought for ₹3 crore, while Shepherd joined RCB at his base price of ₹1.5 crore. Mumbai Indians secured England's Will Jacks for ₹5.25 crore after he played for RCB last season. Other notable purchases included Afghanistan's Azmatullah Omarzai by Punjab Kings for ₹2.4 crore and West Indies' Sherfane Rutherford by Gujarat Titans for ₹2.6 crore. Several players, including Finn Allen and Moeen Ali, went unsold in the auction. A total of 574 players were shortlisted for the event, which took place from November 24-25.
