RCMP arrests eight in human smuggling ring in Canada

Authorities raided three homes linked to the smuggling activities. One of the homes in Montreal is believed to have been a "stash house," where migrants were kept before being transported to the U.S. The arrested individuals are now in custody and may face charges for human smuggling. They could also be at risk of being removed from Canada. The RCMP revealed that the smuggling network advertised its services using social media platforms like Instagram and WhatsApp.
