Rebels take control of Damascus as Turkish foreign minister calls for stable transition in Syria

Fidan noted the importance of vigilance during the transition, particularly regarding the threat from the terrorist group Daesh. He mentioned that Bashar Assad has fled and there has been no communication from him. Fidan emphasized the need to maintain Syria's territorial integrity and involve the international community. He stated that discussions about Syria have included Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, and the United States.
