BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend will release its remaining reserved tickets for public sale today. These tickets were not sold in the initial round, which took place on March 13. Of the tickets sold then, 50% were reserved for Liverpool residents, while 40% were for nearby areas. Only 10% were open to fans from across the country. Today, people can buy the leftover tickets. There are 34,500 general admission tickets available for £33 each, plus a booking fee. VIP tickets are also up for grabs, priced at £95 each. Fans can purchase a maximum of two tickets for a single day. VIP ticket holders will enjoy exclusive benefits, including faster entry and access to a special area with food and drinks, along with upscale restroom facilities. Each VIP guest will receive a souvenir lanyard at entry. Tickets are available for the days of May 23 and May 25. However, Saturday, May 24, is already sold out. The ticket sale begins at 5 PM today. Fans who choose to sell their tickets can use a resale option through Ticketmaster after all tickets have sold out. This resale plan will close at midday on May 16. The festival will feature popular headliners. On Friday, Tom Grennan and Biffy Clyro are among the acts. Sam Fender and Blossoms will perform on Saturday. The finale on Sunday will include Jorja Smith and Mumford & Sons. Full line-up details can be found on the BBC website.
