Remains found in Black Canyon likely belong to missing man
Human remains, believed to belong to a missing Denver man, have been discovered in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park in Colorado. Officials announced this news on Tuesday. The man, identified as Jordan Marsters, is 31 years old. He was reported missing on February 15 after last being seen in the park on February 13. This area is located about 12 miles east of Montrose. Park rangers and a member of the search and rescue team found the remains in a challenging section of the park. It is thought that Marsters was alone at the time of his death, and an investigation is underway. The National Park Service is coordinating efforts to recover the remains. They are also reaching out to nearby national parks for additional assistance. The agency stated that it will not release more details about the case until the remains are safely recovered.
