Republican Jewish Coalition reports record support for Trump among Jewish voters in 2024 election
The Republican Jewish Coalition reports a significant increase in support for Donald Trump among Jewish voters in the 2024 election, claiming it is the highest for a Republican since 1988. Trump received 32% of the Jewish vote, up from 30% in 2020 and 24% in 2016.
Despite Trump's gains, Vice President Kamala Harris led with 66% of the Jewish vote, according to a Fox News analysis. This contrasts with CNN exit polling, which showed Harris winning 79% to Trump’s 21%. The RJC criticized the CNN poll for its limited scope.
The RJC attributes the shift to concerns over Israel and rising antisemitism. They invested $15 million in targeted advertising to reach Jewish voters, emphasizing issues like safety and support for Israel.
