Republicans urge Biden to allow Ukraine strikes in Russia

A group of senior House Republicans has urged President Biden to lift restrictions on U.S.-provided long-range weapons for Ukraine, allowing strikes deep inside Russia. The request aligns with Ukrainian President Zelensky's appeals. U.S. officials, however, indicate no imminent policy changes are expected. Currently, over 90% of Russian aircraft launching attacks on Ukraine are based beyond the range of ATACMS, limiting Ukraine's strike capabilities.
