Rescue dog comforts foster dog on first night

A pet owner named Lauren was surprised to find her dog sleeping outside her bedroom one morning. After bringing home a new foster dog, Chip, the family dog, Chef, decided not to join her in bed. Lauren was concerned but thought Chef might want a change. The next morning, Lauren discovered Chef sleeping near the living room couch. This spot allowed Chef to watch over Chip, who was in a crate. Chip’s background is sad. He was found by the New York Police Department at a previous home, tied to a radiator with severe injuries. He had to have a leg amputated but has been receiving care from the ASPCA, which has been supportive through his recovery. Chip is now available for adoption through Muddy Paw Rescue.
