Resident Evil 3 launched on Apple devices

Capcom has launched Resident Evil 3 on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The game is now available after the release of Resident Evil 2 for Apple devices last December. This allows fans to enjoy the game on newer Apple devices. Originally, Resident Evil 3 was released for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2020. It was updated for new consoles in 2022. The game is a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, which first came out in 1999. In the game, players follow Jill Valentine and her team from the S.T.A.R.S. police squad as they investigate mysterious disappearances in Raccoon City. They discover that a company called Umbrella is behind a dangerous virus spreading in the area. As the situation worsens, Jill faces a powerful enemy determined to hunt her down. Resident Evil 3 is the fifth game from the series available on Apple devices. Previous titles include Resident Evil Village, 4, 7, and 2. Players can use virtual controls on their devices, but a game controller is recommended for a better experience. The game requires about 31GB of storage and can be played on the iPhone 15 Pro, as well as iPads and Macs with M1 chips or newer. Players can start for free, but unlocking all levels will require an in-app purchase. Until April 16, the full game is available for $9.99, after which the price will increase.
