Ricky Pearsall returns to 49ers practice after shooting incident

San Francisco 49ers rookie receiver Ricky Pearsall returned to practice on Monday for the first time since being shot in the chest during a robbery attempt nine days before the season opener. He is currently on the non-football injury list. The team has three weeks to decide on activating Pearsall. Coach Kyle Shanahan stated there is no set timeline for his return to games. Pearsall was hospitalized overnight after the shooting but avoided serious injuries. Pearsall was seen participating actively in practice, including dancing and leading team huddles. He had previously missed much of training camp due to hamstring and shoulder injuries but was expected to be ready for the season opener before the incident.
