RJD leader Amit Chaudhary dies from suspected heart attack
Amit Chaudhary, a 28-year-old leader of the Rashtriya Lok Dal, died during his morning walk in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. His collapse was recorded on CCTV outside his home in Madanpur village. In the footage, Amit is seen standing outside when a man greets him. Moments later, he walks towards a wall, suddenly falls, and dies. The probable cause of death is a heart attack. There has been a troubling rise in heart attacks among younger people in India. A study by Wockhardt hospitals in Mumbai revealed a 15 to 20 percent increase in such incidents over the past two months. Dr. Ravi Gupta, a cardiologist at Wockhardt Hospitals, pointed out that this trend mainly affects people aged 25 and older. He identified several factors that may contribute to this rise, including diabetes, a sedentary lifestyle, air pollution, and stress. Dr. Gupta also noted that a switch to a Western lifestyle could increase the risk for heart attacks in Indians, who are already genetically predisposed to such conditions.
