The Roam SodaTop bottle, showcased at CES 2025, can turn plain water into sparkling water using a special cap and CO2 cartridges. It offers a quick and easy carbonation process, producing flavors like white peach and yuzu. Roam plans to sell the SodaTop for $50 in early 2025, with CO2 cartridges costing about 70 cents each. Flavored CO2 cartridges are still in development, with options like ginger and grapefruit expected. The bottle is designed to keep drinks cold for 24 hours and can be used with compatible water bottles. An adapter for existing SodaStream machines will also be available for $13.
