On March 19, a truck carrying liquor bottles was robbed in Sivaganga district. The truck driver, Selvaraj, reported that 912 bottles worth over ₹1.25 lakh were stolen as he approached a check post. After discovering the theft, Selvaraj quickly contacted the police. However, they refused to file a complaint. Following their advice, he went to a different police station in Pudukottai, but they also rejected his complaint, saying the crime happened in Sivaganga.
