Robert F. Gorman, World War II veteran and community leader, dies at 102

Robert F. Gorman, aged 102, passed away on January 17, 2025. He was born on July 12, 1922, in Manchester, Connecticut. Gorman served in the U.S. Army during World War II and had a long career in business and public service. He was a dedicated family man, preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanor, and his second wife, Barbara. Gorman is survived by five children, seven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. He was active in his community and received several awards for his contributions. Funeral services will be held at St. James Church in Manchester on January 24, 2025.
