Robot resumes mission to retrieve melted fuel at Fukushima

A robot has resumed its mission to retrieve a fragment of melted fuel debris from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant's Unit 2 reactor, nearly three weeks after a technical issue halted the operation. The mission aims to collect less than 3 grams of radioactive material from an estimated 880 tons remaining in three reactors, contributing to the plant's long-term decommissioning process, projected to take 30 to 40 years.
