Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting set for December 4 with live performances
The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting will take place on December 4, 2024, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET. The event will be broadcast live on NBC and streamed on Peacock. Kelly Clarkson will host the event for the second year, featuring performances from artists like Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, and the Backstreet Boys. NBC Today anchors will also participate in the broadcast. This year's tree is a 74-foot Norway Spruce from Massachusetts, decorated with over 50,000 LED lights and topped with a 900-pound Swarovski star. The tree will be on display until January 11, 2025.
