Rocket Lab set to launch Neutron rocket in 2025

Rocket Lab USA, Inc. participated in the Bank of America Global Industrials Conference on March 18, 2025. Stephen Ananias, the VP of Finance, represented the company and discussed their progress on the Neutron rocket and the Archimedes engine. Ananias explained that the Neutron project is advancing through three main areas. First, they are developing the Archimedes engine. This engine has been undergoing tests since August 2024 to ensure its performance meets operational standards. They are experimenting with various power levels, propellant mixtures, and control systems. Additionally, Rocket Lab announced they are building a second test stand in Mississippi. This will double their testing capacity, which is crucial for preparing Neutron for its first launch planned for the second half of this year. Overall, Rocket Lab is making significant strides in their rocket development and is on track to move forward in 2025.
