Roy man killed by truck; neighbor faces murder charges

A man from Roy, Washington, has been identified as the victim of a fatal truck incident last week. Joshua Clemens, 41, died from severe injuries after being run over three times on March 12. The incident occurred on 384th Street South, and his death has been ruled a homicide by the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office. Keaton Scott Ross, 27, Clemens' neighbor, has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder. He is currently held in the Pierce County Jail with a bail set at $250,000. Prosecutors claim that Clemens was damaging Ross' security cameras with a pole before the incident. When Ross confronted Clemens in his truck, it is alleged that Ross ran over him after Clemens brandished a pocketknife. In a police interview, Ross stated he acted in self-defense.
