Ruben Amorim prepares for Manchester United debut against Ipswich Town
Ruben Amorim will make his debut as Manchester United's manager on Sunday against Ipswich Town. He aims to establish his own approach, moving away from the legacy of Sir Alex Ferguson, who lost his first match in 1986. Amorim has already made significant changes, including dismissing interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy. He plans to implement a 3-4-3 formation, which he successfully used at Sporting Lisbon, as he seeks to build on the team's recent unbeaten streak. Unlike Ferguson, Amorim can look to David Moyes and Ralf Rangnick, who both won their opening matches at United. Moyes secured a 2-0 victory in the 2013 Community Shield, while Rangnick won 1-0 in his first game as interim manager.
