Ruben Amorim has officially taken over as Manchester United's head coach this week. His first match in charge will be against promoted Ipswich Town on Sunday. Fans have high expectations amid uncertainty following recent team struggles. The Premier League has confirmed that Anthony Taylor will referee the match. Taylor has faced criticism from United supporters in the past, particularly for a controversial red card issued to Casemiro during a game against Southampton in March 2023. This season, Taylor also officiated United's 3-0 loss to Liverpool. He will be assisted by Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn, with Matt Donohue as the fourth official.
