Rupal Rana achieved UPSC success after two failures
Rupal Rana, a young woman from Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh, has achieved a remarkable success by securing the 26th rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023. Her journey is a story of determination and resilience. Rupal started her education at JP Public School, where she scored a perfect 10 in her high school exams. She then studied at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and later earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Deshbandhu College at Delhi University, where she was the top student. Tragedy struck when Rupal lost her mother at a young age. This event brought many challenges, but her father, Jasvir Rana, an Assistant Sub-Inspector with the Delhi Police, supported her through tough times. With the help of her family, Rupal stayed focused on her studies despite her personal loss. Her journey to becoming an IAS officer was not smooth. Rupal faced setbacks in her first two attempts at the UPSC exams. Instead of giving up, she learned from her failures, adjusted her preparation, and tried again. Her hard work finally paid off when she passed the exam on her third attempt. Rupal's story serves as an inspiration for many young people. It highlights the importance of perseverance, hard work, and the support of family and community in achieving one’s dreams. She proves that with dedication and determination, anyone can overcome obstacles to find success.
