Russia claims to intercept 59 Ukrainian drones including two aimed at Moscow
Russia's defense ministry reported that its air defense systems shot down 59 Ukrainian drones overnight, including two aimed at Moscow. Most drones were intercepted over the Bryansk region, which borders Ukraine. No casualties or damage were reported from the incidents. The ministry stated that drones were also destroyed over the Kursk, Belgorod, and Tula regions. Local officials confirmed that all drones targeting Bryansk were neutralized. Ukraine has not commented on the report. The drone attacks are part of Ukraine's strategy to target Russian military infrastructure in response to ongoing strikes on its territory.
