Russia confirms Ukraine's use of ATACMS missiles in recent attack
Russia has confirmed that Ukraine launched six ATACMS missiles at its territory, marking the first acknowledgment of such an attack. Of these, five missiles were intercepted by Russian air defenses. The ATACMS, or MGM-140 Army Tactical Missile System, is a U.S.-made supersonic tactical ballistic missile. It has a range of 300 kilometers and can reach speeds of 3,704 kilometers per hour. The missile's capabilities, including its high speed and advanced warheads, have raised tensions, prompting Russia to issue warnings about potential nuclear responses.
