Russia demands US intervention for Ukraine's Black Sea deal

Russia has expressed its willingness to reach a new deal for safe shipping in the Black Sea. Lavrov emphasized that past agreements with Ukraine have failed, and stronger measures are required from the US to ensure compliance. In his remarks, Lavrov accused Ukraine of "terrorist" actions, while Ukraine has similarly labeled Russian attacks as terrorism. This exchange highlights the ongoing tension and accusations between the two nations amid three years of conflict. The US has expressed that a maritime ceasefire would be a significant step toward a broader peace agreement.
