Russia launches intercontinental ballistic missile strike on Dnipro, Ukraine reports
Russia has launched an intercontinental ballistic missile attack on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, marking the first use of such powerful missiles in the ongoing conflict. The strike targeted critical infrastructure and enterprises in the city. This attack follows Ukraine's recent use of US and British missiles to hit targets in Russia, escalating tensions. Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted six Kh-101 cruise missiles during the assault. In response to the heightened threat, the United States and several European countries have temporarily closed their embassies in Kyiv. This comes after Ukraine's first strike on Russian territory using long-range missiles supplied by the US.
