Russian strikes kill six and injure 30 in Ukraine cities
Russian attacks on southern and eastern Ukraine on Monday resulted in at least six civilian deaths and around 30 injuries. The strikes involved glide bombs, drones, and a ballistic missile, marking an increase in hostilities. In Mykolaiv, five people were killed and a woman injured when drones targeted the city. An attack in Zaporizhzhia killed one and injured 21, including a child. A ballistic missile hit a building in Kryvyi Rih, injuring at least eight. Ukraine's intelligence reported destroying a Russian helicopter, while Russia claimed to have shot down 17 Ukrainian drones. The recent strikes reflect a continued escalation in the conflict as it nears its 1,000th day.
