Ryanair flight departs without passengers after airport evacuation in UK
A Ryanair flight left Leeds Bradford International Airport on February 3 without several passengers after a fire alarm caused an evacuation. Darren Clark and others were forced to re-clear security, missing their flight. Clark reported that airport staff indicated Ryanair knew passengers were still inside but chose to depart anyway. He and his partner had to pay an additional £160 for a new flight with another airline. The airport confirmed the evacuation was due to a false alarm and stated that all flights were grounded until security was cleared. Ryanair has not yet commented on the incident.
