Patton Kizzire also lost his temper on Thursday, kicking his putter after missing a short par putt. He later withdrew from the tournament due to a lower back injury. Despite his anger, Theegala managed to finish the round at 1-over par, bringing his total to 1-under for the tournament. This places him in a tie for 24th position. So far this season, Theegala has made the cut in seven out of eight tournaments but has struggled to secure a top 20 finish besides one at the Genesis Invitational.
