"Sakamoto Days" first season ends; second part arrives July
The first season of "Sakamoto Days," an anime about a retired assassin turned convenience store clerk, has finished. Fans will have to wait until July for more episodes on Netflix. To keep excitement alive, Netflix has released a behind-the-scenes interview with two main voice actors, Aleks Le and Dallas Liu. In the interview, Le talks about how he and Liu met and how he helped Liu start his voice acting career. Le has voiced characters in popular anime series like "Demon Slayer," while Liu is known for his role as Prince Zuko in "Avatar: The Last Airbender." "Sakamoto Days" has gained a strong following and is considered one of the breakout anime series of 2025. Netflix is focusing on expanding its anime collection, alongside other successful shows like "Baki Hanma" and "Castlevania." The story follows Taro Sakamoto, who has to protect his family from threats linked to his past. Viewers are looking forward to the second part of the first season, which will feature new character Gaku, voiced by Koki Uchiyama.
