Salesman arrested for cheating hardware company in Haryana

A salesman from Hisar district in Haryana was arrested by Halasuru Gate police for cheating a hardware company. The arrest took place in the second week of March. The company had filed a complaint against four salesmen. They were accused of selling welding rods worth ₹96 lakh to customers in Bengaluru, Mandya, and Channaptna. Instead of delivering the goods, they took the money and disappeared. After the complaint, police issued notices to the salesmen to come in for questioning. The arrested salesman confessed to the fraud during questioning. Police also managed to recover ₹11.24 lakh from him. Two other salesmen named in the complaint were found to have no involvement in the crime. The investigation continues to find the second accused in the case.
