Samsung addresses Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25+ fast charging issues with upcoming software update

Some users of the Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25+ are experiencing fast charging issues. Samsung has confirmed the problem is limited to wired charging and is working on a fix through a software update. Wireless charging is not affected. Users have reported slower and inconsistent charging speeds. Samsung recommends using the provided 3A USB Type-C cable instead of a 5A cable to help resolve these issues. Disabling the Fast Charging feature may also stabilize charging but will reduce speed. The Galaxy S25 series supports 45W charging, allowing a full charge in about 75 minutes. Samsung emphasizes this speed balances performance and battery health, aiming to prevent long-term battery degradation.
