Samsung fixes Galaxy Tab A9+ refresh rate issues
Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy Tab A9+. This update aims to fix issues with refresh rates and lag that users have been experiencing. The update is known as firmware version X216BXXS6CYB5 and includes a security patch for February 2025. Before this update, many users said their Galaxy Tab A9+ did not perform as smoothly as expected. This was especially true when using the Adaptive 90Hz refresh rate option. Overall, the feedback on the update has been mostly positive. However, some users noticed increased battery consumption after installing it. This is a common occurrence, as devices often need time to adjust after updates. Galaxy Tab A9+ owners can check for the update by going to the Settings menu and selecting Software update. For those who prefer to install it manually, the firmware file is available on Samsung’s firmware database and can be flashed using the Odin tool on a Windows PC. Looking ahead, Samsung is reportedly working on new tablets in the FE series. The Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+ have already been seen on certification sites, suggesting they may be available soon.
