Samsung Galaxy S25 benchmarks reveal performance concerns with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip
Benchmark scores for the Samsung Galaxy S25 have surfaced, showing disappointing results. The device, identified as model SM-S931N, features the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and 12GB of RAM, but its performance lags behind competitors. The Galaxy S25 scored 2,481 in single-core and 8,658 in multi-core tests, compared to the iPhone 16's scores of 3,301 and 6,922, respectively. While the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip has shown better performance in other tests, the S25's RAM may limit its capabilities. The upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to have 16GB of RAM, which could enhance performance. Concerns remain about the S25's competitiveness, especially if it retains the same display technology as the previous model while potentially increasing in price.
