Samsung Galaxy S25 offers emergency satellite connectivity but limits access to Verizon users

The Samsung Galaxy S25 now includes emergency satellite connectivity, but it only works with Verizon. Unlike Apple and Google, Samsung has not partnered with satellite providers, limiting access to this feature. Verizon is the only U.S. carrier that has confirmed support for the Galaxy S25's satellite feature, which allows two-way messaging in emergencies. This service is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Satellite technology. While the Galaxy S25 offers some satellite capabilities, it lacks the full functionality available on competing devices. Users outside of Verizon will not have access to this emergency feature.
